Kingsbarns “The Doocot” Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml
Hailing from the Lowlands of Scotland, Kingsbarns The Doocot is the distillery’s signature single malt, showcasing its elegant, fruity house style. Named after the historic dovecote (or “doocot”) on the distillery grounds, this whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) wine barriques, highlighting both freshness and layered complexity.
The nose is bright and inviting with orchard fruits, citrus, vanilla and soft floral notes, while the palate is smooth and well-balanced, offering sweet malt, honey, stone fruits, baking spice and gentle oak, all carried by a light, silky texture. The finish is clean, warming and delicately spiced, with lingering fruit sweetness and subtle oak.
Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, The Doocot is an excellent example of modern Lowland craftsmanship — perfect for enjoying neat or with a splash of water to bring out its lively, nuanced character.
