The 2016 vintage was outstanding in the Barossa — warm, dry conditions and an extended ripening period produced grapes of exceptional concentration, balance, and structure. Deep crimson-purple in colour, it opens with intense aromas of blackberry, dark plum, mocha, cedar, and exotic spice, supported by beautifully integrated oak. The palate is full-bodied and opulent yet finely structured, delivering layers of rich dark fruit, chocolate, and savoury spice framed by silky tannins and vibrant acidity.
